The Resource and Learning Centre for Students with Disabilities and Special Needs at the Humanities and Education Science Academy of V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University in Yalta was founded in October 2017.

Initially established within the Humanities and Education Science Academy back in 2009 as the Regional Higher Education Centre for Students with Disabilities, the Centre is dedicated to developing and implementing a model of higher education for individuals with specific needs which facilitates their social inclusion, rehabilitation and integration into modern society.

The Centre’s Shared-Use Center provides a variety of services, equipment and programmes to support the educational goals of students with physical and/or mobility difficulties, hearing impairment, visual impairment, medical condition or specific learning difficulty.
