Vernadsky CFU’s Medical Institute held its second annual talent competition among the international students of the Institute’s International Medical Faculty called ‘IMF GOT Talent 2023’ on November 24, 2023.

“It would be great if our students participated in the similar events held at a higher level, the entire university one. I am quite sure that they would win many prizes because, coming from many different countries and cultures, they could fascinate anyone with their unique talents and performances,” commented Vladimir Tsvetkov, the Dean of the International Medical Faculty at the Vernadsky CFU’s Medical Institute.

The event attracted some 80 contestants hailing from various countries across the globe, such as Egypt, India, Congo, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and many others.

“We get to know our students from a perspective completely different from that we already have of them from communicating with them in the classrooms. Doctors-to-be are usually talented in everything. They draw, dance, sing, create things with arts and crafts. This is also how we can learn the culture of other countries,” said Elena Shakhova, Deputy Dean of the International Medical Faculty at the Vernadsky CFU’s Medical Institute.

The medical students showcased their magnificent talents in areas such as solo and group dancing, singing, creative performances, arts and crafts, and instrumental performances.

The highly entertaining and action-packed event was judged by a panel of distinguished judges, and concluded with the announcement of the winners and awarding of certificates and prizes.
