Vernadsky CFU’s Physics and Technology Institute graduates receive their degrees

 

On June 27, graduates of the Physics and Technology Institute of V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University received their degrees at a special and highly anticipated graduation ceremony, attended by the Institute’s students, faculty, alumni and invited guests.

A total of 250 students graduated this year, including 60 students from Master’s degree programmes and 190 students from Bachelor’s degree programmes. Degrees with Distinction were given to 36 graduates who performed particularly well in their studies and received high grades.

This year saw the first graduates of the Software Engineering programme, which is now offered at the Institute along with five other programmes: Applied Physics, Radiophysics, Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and Physics.

In her opening speech, Professor Marina Glumova, the Institute’s Director, congratulated the 2018 graduates for their achievements and wished them success in the future.
