Vice-Rector for International Activities and Information Policy Sergey Yurchenko’s congratulatory address to students from China and Nigeria

 

Dear students from Nigeria,

On behalf of the entire V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University staff and on my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you and all Nigerians on Independence Day of your country.

Every year we welcome students from Nigeria. There are currently 149 students from Nigeria studying at V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University.
I am pleased to note the progress made in strengthening of the friendly relations between the students of our countries.

I wish you wealth, health, and success in your future endeavours, and I wish all the Nigerians peace and prosperity.

 

Dear students from China,

I warmly congratulate you on the 66th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
The long-term positive experience of Russia – China cooperation provides a vivid example of how mutual understanding and fruitful international collaboration can be nurtured.
China’s achievements in economy, science, culture, and education are known to the whole world. We are proud and happy to welcome students from China at V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University every year.
I hope that we will continue to work together to further develop our cooperation in science, education, and culture.
