V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University has improved its standing within the Russian Federation in the latest Interfax National University Ranking, moving up from 85th last year to 57th place.
This year’s ranking, released on Thursday, June 23, features 358 Russian universities from across the country, including research, flagship and federal universities, as well as special-status government universities and private universities.
The National University Ranking is published by Interfax Group annually since 2010. It assesses universities against a combination of the following six core criteria: teaching, research, social environment, international cooperation, brand, and innovations and technology entrepreneurship.
Continuing a steady climb over recent years, Vernadsky CFU significantly improved its rank in two key measures used in the table – Research and Innovations and Technology Entrepreneurship. The University also scored well in Social Environment and Teaching.
