Researchers at Taurida Academy’s Department of Ecology and Zoology have started to breed a high-potential line of Crimean honey bees which are characterised as being friendly, peace-loving, high-yielding and can collect the nectar secreted by the plants at high temperatures. Read more

On August 1, the Physics and Technology Institute of Vernadsky CFU welcomed over 70 students and training staff from Crimea and across Russia to take part in the First Open Student Summer School in Cybersecurity. A new cave, described as unique and unparalleled in Crimea, has been discovered near the rural town of Zuya during the construction of Tavrida motorway that will stretch from Sevastopol in the west of the peninsula to Kerch in the east. A group of scientists and researchers from Vernadsky CFU is involved in the exploration and survey of the cave. Read more
