As part of the University’s 105th anniversary celebrations, a group of international students of the Vernadsky CFU’s Medical Institute named after S.I. Georgievsky travelled to Alushta where they took part in the III International Business Forum ‘Time for Export’. In Russia, January 25th marks Tatiana’s Day, in honour of Saint Tatiana of Rome. It is also celebrated across the country as Russian Students’ Day. Back in the 18th century, on January 25, 1755 Empress Elizabeth signed a decree founding Russia’s first university, Moscow State University. Since then, Tatiana is considered patron saint of students. Read more

V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University welcomed 11 medical doctors from six African countries, who arrived to study a programme in Medicine delivered as part of the Russia – Africa Multidisciplinary Summer University Project. The programme runs until 8th September and is aimed at equipping medical professionals with new knowledge and skills in their specialist areas. Read more
